La Junta Senior Golf League Results Sept. 9, 2025

With 37 golfers, the La Junta Senior Golf League played nine holes of scramble golf on September 9.  There were eight teams of 4 players and one team of 5 players. The challenge chip was on hole #7, but no one was able to complete the chip. The challenge putt was on hole #2 and seven players made the putt: Fred Boettcher, Bob May, Mackie O’Neal, Frank Broce, Phillip Buford, Lynn Bigham, and Joe McClain.

Next week, September 16, the league will play a 9-hole scramble with mulligans.  Registration will be open from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m., with teams being picked at 8:45 a.m. No players can be added after this time. Play is scheduled to begin at approximately 9:00 a.m. Please call 719-469-0691 if you anticipate being late for registration but will be able to tee off on time.
