Tiger Theatre Presents: Beetlejuice Jr.

It's showtime! The ghost-with-the-most comes to the stage in Beetlejuice Jr. at LJHS Tiger Theatre on October 23rd, 24th, & 25th. This is a frightfully funny musical based on the beloved motion picture turned Broadway phenomenon. Lydia Deetz, Emma Ayala, is a strange and unusual teenager, still grieving the loss of her mother and obsessed with the whole "being dead thing." Lucky for Lydia, she and her father Charles, played by Jon Holloway, move to a new house haunted by a recently deceased couple. Adam and Barbra Maitland, played by Maria Lavin and Skylar Finkner, team up with Beetlejuice, Giavonni Encinias, a delightful demon with a real zest for life. When things aren't going her way, especially with the sunny dispositioned Delia, played by Maranatha Hoyt, Lydia calls on Beetlejuice to scare away anyone with a pulse. The double-crossing specter shows his true stripes, unleashing a (Nether)world of pandemonium.

Experience a screaming good time with our ensemble cast of Seniors Mikayla Martinez, Viviana Herrera, Emi Malec, Audrey Leitner, Junior Paitan Encinias, Sophomore Zyana Gendreau-Croskey, Freshman Gianna Ayala, Thane Sullivan and Junior High students Peyton Marx, Phoebie Sullivan, Lanee Glee, Kenzie Grasmick, and Lillian Seaba.

The backstage crew of Oakley Jones, Karimen Lavin, Olive Montoya, and Josslyn Marx help transform the set and provide a seamless transition for the audience throughout the show. Watch out for their very special creature's cameo.

Come and support our theatre arts students at La Junta Jr/Sr High School Tiger Theatre October 23rd and 24th at 7:00 PM (doors open at 6:30 PM) and October 25th at 2:00 PM (doors open at 1:30 PM).
