Doug Hudson Named 2025 Crowley County Friend of 4-H Award Honoree for Dedication and Service
Every year, the 4-H Council chooses a business or individual to receive the Friend of 4-H Award. For the program to be successful and activities to be offered adult volunteers are needed and they are what makes a program successful.
The ‘Friend of 4-H’ has been awarded since 1990. This is the 36th year the 4-H Council has chosen to present the Crowley County Friend of 4-H honor.
The 2025 Friend of 4-H award recognizes an individual whose dedication, hard work, and generosity have made a lasting impact on the Crowley County 4-H program. No matter the hour—day or night—this individual is always ready to lend a hand during fair week and throughout the year. From fixing the sprinkler system in the barn to rehanging doors in the concession stand, he takes on the jobs no one else wants to do without hesitation or complaint. His willingness to step in whenever needed and his steadfast support make him an invaluable part of our 4-H family. The youth events at Crowley County Days simply wouldn’t be possible without him. We are proud to honor Doug Hudson as the 2025 Friend of 4-H.
