Obituary
Pebble Irene Pearl, age 71, of Rocky Ford, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on November 9, 2025. She was born on September 2, 1954, in Clovis, New Mexico, to Travis and Jo Corbin, who preceded her in death, Pebble grew up in a close-knit family. She is survived by her brother Dennis and Nancy Corbin their children Apricot (Corbin) and her husband Ben Truitt, Derrick Corbin, along with two great-nieces and great-nephew Aspen (Truitt) Davis, Autumn (Truitt) Evans, and Brennan Truitt. Pebble is cherished and deeply missed by her loyal and devoted husband, George (Dick) Pearl, with whom she shared a lifetime of unwavering love and partnership. She is also survived by her daughter Chestnut (Pearl) and her husband Derek Livermore and their son Stryker, and her son Richard and his wife Dayla Pearl, along with their children Dennom and Macie Pearl.
Pebble was full of life and had a heart as vibrant as the mountains she adored and the beaches she loved to visit. Her faith guided every step of her life. A devoted follower of Jesus Christ, she poured her heart into serving others—through Bible Study Fellowship, years of teaching Sunday School, leading youth groups, serving on the First Church of God Board, leading as Stage Director for the youth dance department, volunteering with the Rocky Ford Fair Board, and giving countless hours to CASA.
Above all, Pebble’s greatest joy was sharing the love of Jesus. Her legacy of faith, kindness, and service will continue to shine through the many lives she touched. She has now finished her earthly race and rests joyfully in the presence of her Lord. “Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord.” – Matthew 25:23
