Driver Rescued After Truck Enters Water at Lake Pueblo State Park

Lake Pueblo State Park Officers responded with Pueblo West Fire Department following a 9/11 call at 4:56 pm after a visitor's truck went ~50 ft offshore from Sailboard Beach.

Water reached half way up the truck's doors as firefighters helped the driver from the truck to shore. 

The driver was transported by ambulance to UC Health Parkview/Pueblo and the Ford F-150 was removed from the lake by 6:20 pm.

The incident is considered medically-related.

Vehicles are routinely permitted on Sailboard beach.
