Obituary
Becky Ann Hicks was born on November 13, 1955, in Rocky Ford, Colorado, to Eva Keller (Gribble) and Charles William Hicks, and passed away on April 1, 2026, at UC Memorial in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She went to be with her dad, mom, and sister, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and authenticity.
Becky was unapologetically herself, blunt, honest, and real in a way that made everyone around her feel loved and welcome. She loved music and had a deep passion for creating art in many ways, expressing herself through drawing, painting, and other creative outlets. She also had a fondness for elephants and a great love for her cats, who were constant companions and brought her joy throughout her life.
Her love for her family was boundless, and although she never had children of her own, her nieces and nephews were like her children, creating memories together that will last a lifetime.
Generous and spirited, Becky had a heart for her community and a creative soul, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.
She will be remembered for her humor, her honesty, her vibrant energy, and the love she gave so freely. Those who knew Becky were lucky to experience her warmth and her unique way of making life brighter.
She is survived by her brother, Stan Hicks; her sister, Goldie (Stan) Austin; her nephew, Mick (Emily) Vickroy; her niece, Jean Goheen; her great-nephews, Samuel Goheen, Mykale Goheen, Kyllian Goheen, and Jude Vickroy; her stepdad, Lee Keller; along with many other family members, cousins, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eva Keller (Gribble) and Charles William Hicks, and her sister, Marleen Vickroy.
Service details will be announced once finalized.
