Colorado Community College System Announces Finalists for Trinidad State College President

April 13, 2026 (Denver) — Today, Dr. Marielena DeSanctis, Chancellor of the Colorado Community College System (CCCS), announced three finalists for the position of president of Trinidad State College (TSC) following a national search.

“I want to thank the many faculty, staff, students, and community members who shared their perspectives during the development of the presidential profile,” said Chancellor DeSanctis. “Their input helped shape the qualities and leadership priorities we sought in this search.”

“I am also deeply grateful to the members of the search advisory committee for their time, thoughtful review of candidates, and dedication to identifying leaders who align with the mission and future of Trinidad State College.

The finalists will visit both the Trinidad and Valley campuses between April 15 and April 21, 2026. During their visits, each finalist will meet with campus and community stakeholders and participate in open forums.

Open Forums

Community members are invited to attend open forums with each finalist. These sessions provide an opportunity for faculty, staff, students, and community members to engage in the presidential search process. In-person participation is encouraged.

Search Process
