LAPD Responds to Unresponsive Male; Subject Pronounced Deceased at Scene

On April 11, 2026 at approximately 1:17 pm, Las Animas Police Department officers were dispatched to the area of Ambassador Thompson and Bent Avenue, following a report of an unresponsive male subject lying on the sidewalk and CPR was in progress. 

Ambulance personnel attended to the subject, who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
