Obituary

A celebration of life for longtime Lamar resident Sheryl Perkins will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, June 12, 2026 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Pastor Darren Stroh officiating. Interment will follow at the Eads Cemetery in Eads, Colorado.

Per Sheryl’s request there will be no visitation.

Sheryl was born on November 29, 1956 at Terre Haute, Indiana to Clyde Lewis and Linda Ruth (Lacey) Miller and passed away on June 09, 2026 at the Bent County Healthcare Center at the age of 69 with her family by her side.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother David Miller.

Sheryl is survived by her daughter DeAnna (Ruben) Flores of San Marcos, CA granddaughter Addisyn Flores, sister Cindy (Stuart Hutchins) Haynes of Ft. Worth, TX and brother Dan (Darleen) Miller of Billings, MT. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.
