Would like to highlight the exceptional dedication and teamwork from our combined fire and EMS department. Within a demanding two and a half-hour window, personnel demonstrated their unwavering commitment to their community and public safety by managing multiple incidents simultaneously. This period started with a fire requiring immediate and comprehensive response, during which our teams not only contained the blaze effectively but also transported two patients requiring medical care from that scene.

Stacked calls do not happen every day but it seems we have been experiencing these scenarios more often lately. Our department also responded to 2 additional medical calls separate from fire incident in the time frame mentioned above.

Today is testament to the necessity of having a fully staffed department and invaluable synergy between career staff and the volunteers that worked in unison tonight.
