Description: The Aspen Acres Fire prompted immediate mandatory evacuations on July 5, 2026, for Coal Creek, Rockvale, Los Pinos Subdivision, Lock Mountain Estates, Newlin Ridge Road, Fremont County Roads 15, 100 and 103, and the Highway 67 corridor north of the Custer County line. Immediate Evacuation Notice 7/5/26 8:03pm
All areas that were under pre evacuation status in Fremont County are now under mandatory evacuation. Fremont County Sheriff’s and the Florence Fire Protection District will be out going door to door.
* Fremont County Roads 15, 103, and 100
* Newlin Ridge Road
* Los Pinos Subdivision
* Lock Mountain Estates
* The towns of Coal Creek and Rockvale
The previously announced pre-evacuation area along Highway 67, extending approximately 4.5 miles north from the Custer County line, 2 miles east, and 2.5 miles west, is also under mandatory evacuation.
