La Junta Fire Dept Responds to Car VS Building Crash on Hwy 50 in Swink
At approx 1255 today we responded to a reported vehicle hitting a building on Hwy 50 and Columbia in Swink. Upon arrival the driver had self extricated and had injuries.
There was severe heavy damage to the building making it unstable. Medical crews tended to the driver and transported to AVRMC and fire crews stabilized the building and secured the area.
Crews waited on scene until the investigation was completed and the vehicle was removed by the tow company.
