La Junta Senior Golf League Results - June 17, 2025
On Tuesday, June 17, 46 seniors attended the La Junta Senior Golf League for a misty, rainy round of golf. We formed eight teams of 5 golfers and one team of 6 golfers. The format was a regular scramble, except on hole #4 where players could only use a 9 iron. The best score on that hole earned a reward. The challenge chip on hole 2 went unclaimed, while Dennis Golding made the challenge putt on hole 6.
Three new players were introduced: Jim Sisson, Doug Austin, and Janis Mater. The La Junta High School Girls Golf coach has requested donations for used ladies' golf clubs. If you have any unused clubs that you wish to donate, please take them to the golf course starter shack, where they will be collected by LJHS staff by next Tuesday. Burritos were available for purchase from the La Junta Grill prior to the commencement of play.
