On August 8th, Bent County Sheriffs Office Deputies responded to a situation involving a suicidal individual.
Deputies quickly secured the area and ensured the safety of everyone involved. The incident has been resolved peacefully, and there is no ongoing threat to the public. The scene is now under control, and all assisting agencies have cleared the area.
Deputies will remain on scene for a short while and then the area will be reopened.
