Fire Crews Knock Down 3 A.M. Blaze at Lamar Truck Plaza

This morning at approximately 0300 Lamar Ambulance was dispatched along with Prowers County Rural Fire for a reported structure fire at Truck Plaza.

Med 2 responded with a PAR of 2 and transported a patient to PMC.

While Med 2 was transporting, Prowers County Rural requested that Lamar and Wiley Fire respond for a mutual aid request needing manpower. FRU3, FRU4, and Engine 6 responded to the scene.

All crews worked together to extinguish the fire as well as ventilate the building.

Med 2 returned to the scene to stand by while fire operations continued.

All Lamar units cleared the scene at approximately 0600.
