Rocky Ford Fire Department Responds to Early-Morning Shed Fire

At approximately 04:52 this morning the Rocky Ford Fire Department was called to Highway 50 on the West side of town for a building on fire.

A passerby commuting on Highway 50, called 911 stating that there was a shed on fire. Resident was notified, and they immediately placed water on the exposed Outbuilding.

Shortly after Engine 4, Tanker 2, unit 591 and personell arrived on scene. Immediate suppression was achieved, followed by overhaul.

No injuries, or displacement. Cause of fire is still under investigation.
