Obituary

Carlos Rangel III age 77 of Walsh Colorado died Saturday December 27th in Lamar Colorado. He was born on December 4, 1948, in Laredo, Texas to Celsa Idrogo Martinez and Roman Martinez. 

Carlos was a devoted Son, Brother, Nephew, Dad, Grandpa, Father-in-law, Uncle and friend. He left behind family and friends who will cherish his memory. Carlos took pride in his family and was always there when anyone needed his love, guidance and support. He will be remembered for his kindness, strength and sense of humor, he knew no stranger he would help anyone that needed it with nothing in return. He made a lasting impact that will never be forgotten. His family will continue to honor his life and legacy. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. 

He is preceded in death by his Mother Celsa Idrogo Martinez, Father Roman Martinez, Santos Espinoza, Sister Celsa Susie Vasquez, Brothers Ricardo Rangel and Martin Martinez. Daughter Celsa Rangel, Daughter/Granddaughter Melissa Adaila Rangel 

Carlos is survived by his children Grace Paiz Rangel (Ted Paiz) Alicia Rangel (Stephen Owen) Cristina Rangel (Gustavo Hernandez) Juana Rangel Garcia (Fermin Luis Garcia) Lucia Rangel, Yolanda Rangel, Rosalinda Rangel Jurado and Felipa Rangel, His brother Eddie Rangel. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews. 

Family will Gather on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at 2 PM at Walsh Cemetery. 

Dykes Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
