Rocky Ford Fire Crews Respond Quickly to Overnight Structure Fire

The Rocky Ford Fire Department was called to the area of North Main street for reports of a structure Fire at around 1:00AM on January 12, 2026.

“A Shift” immediately responded with Engine 1, and confirmed a working Structure.

Aggressive offensive attack was made with (2) 1 3/4” Handlines. Shortly after, Tender 2 arrived for water supply. Building was unoccupied, then crew went into overhaul with a monitor and tools.

No occupants or injuries, cause of fire is still under investigation.

Apparatus and crew will remain in the area, and there will be steam and smoke visible for a while. Strong work team!
