Lamar Police Execute Search Warrant, Seize Pounds of Fentanyl, Heroin and Meth
On 03/04/26, Lamar Police Department responded to a location regarding an in-progress incident. Upon additional investigation and circumstances presented on scene, a search warrant was obtained for the location.
The search warrant was executed, and numerous illegal narcotics, additional items that were illegal for an associated individual to possess, and items indicative of narcotics distribution were seized.
Fentanyl, various types of Heroin, and Methamphetamine were located and seized.
In all, the seizure of narcotics was measured in pounds.
The individual associated with the incident has an extensive, multi-crime, multi-state criminal history over decades and was on parole at the time of this incident.
Due to the nature of an ongoing investigation through the Lamar Police Department, Lamar Investigations Unit and in consultation with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, additional details will be released at a later time.
All Parties are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
