DeBourgh Manufacturing CEO Patrick Berg Confirms Acquisition by List Industries; La Junta Operations to Remain
La Junta, Colorado - As the news has officially become public, I'd like to share the details of the recent changes in my world and the future of my family business.
Yes, it is true that DeBourgh has been acquired by a company called List Industries, a long time industry rival who also makes metal lockers, is family owned, and is nearing 100 years in business.
They're also 10 times the size of DeBourgh! I'd like to dispel any false rumors or fears now as those tend to be loud in the beginning but fade as reality sets in: DeBourgh is firmly planted in La Junta and will not be moved anywhere!
The company is NOT going out of business or closing our doors, quite the contrary; we are primed for growth and investment by this much larger business who has every interest in our success. I will personally be staying on with the company as president.
Our leadership team, management, and company as a whole remain intact and continue to operate with business-as-usual through this transition.
This news is good news, for my family and for the community, and for our customers and partners who know DeBourgh to be synonymous with quality and integrity.
I'm excited for the future, and appreciate the outpouring of support and congratulations I've received from so many people that I care about tremendously!
The future holds so many bright and exciting opportunities!
