With broken hearts and unending love, we announce the passing of Dezirae Denise Ferne Marostica, who left this world far too soon on August 8th, 2025, at the age of 34. A beloved daughter, sister, fiancée, and friend, Dezirae's presence was a light in the lives of all who knew her—warm, grounding, and unforgettable.

Dezi was the daughter of Michael Marostica and Denise and Jeff, and the beloved sister of Mitch, Adam, Grant, and Ryan. She was also the cherished fiancée of Bryce, with whom she had built a deep and beautiful partnership, full of laughter, strength, and shared dreams of the life they were going to create together in Idaho.

Raised in the wide-open spaces of Last Chance, Colorado, Dezi thrived in country life. She had a natural love for the land and a deep connection to the freedom and simplicity it offered. Whether she was riding horses across open fields, tearing through dirt trails on a four-wheeler, or shooting hoops until the sun went down, Dezi brought joy, determination, and heart to everything she did. Her competitive spirit shone through in her love of sports, where she played with grit and fire—and that same spark could be seen in all corners of her life.

Dezi’s heart was full of love for her family, her friends, and her pets — her husky, Auggie, her lab, Goose, and her cat, Bella.

A talented and creative cook, Dezi had a gift for bringing people together around the table. She was also known as someone you could turn to with anything on your heart — always listening, always caring, and always ready to lift others up. Her warmth and kindness touched everyone she met.

She shared a special bond with her mother, Denise, who was also her very best friend and constant companion. Together, they filled each other’s lives with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.

The bond Dezi shared with her mother, Denise, was profound. Denise wasn’t just her mom—she was her confidant, her champion, her closest friend. They shared a connection built on mutual trust, unwavering support, and a deep, intuitive love that transcended words. Dezi leaned on her mom in both the brightest and most challenging moments of life, knowing she would always find understanding, truth, and love. And in turn, Denise found in Dezi not only a daughter to be proud of, but a woman whose strength, humor, and compassion constantly inspired her.

To her family, Dezi was a steady and loving force—someone who knew how to bring people together. She had a unique and unshakable bond with each of her brothers, and she embraced her role as their sister with unmatched loyalty and love. She was their biggest defender, and their forever friend.

Dezi is preceded in death by her grandfather, Harry Marostica, and her cousins, Josh Paulson and Jordan Culp. She is survived by her fiancée, Bryce Sparks, her parents, Mike and Denise Marostica and Jeff, her brothers, Grant, Ryan, Mitch, and Adam Marostica, her grandparents Verle and Buni Riemenschneider, Paula Marostica, her nephew, Luka, and her niece, Hollyn, along with many cousins, extended family, and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.

Dezi’s life was defined by her love for others and the joy she brought into the world. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
