Missing Siblings Avery (4) & Cheyenne (3) Atencio Abducted by Noncustodial Parent in Lamar – Public Asked to Help
Description: Missing Children Alert Four-year-old Avery “Bubba” Atencio and three-year-old Cheyenne “Sissy” Atencio have been missing since August 8, 2025, after a court-ordered custody exchange in Lamar, Colorado. Authorities say they were abducted by their noncustodial father, Jimmy Atencio (45), who may be traveling with Mary Catherine Boldt (68). The children are listed nationwide as missing and endangered. They may still be near Lamar or possibly attempting to travel toward Mexico. Brown hair(curly at the ends), brown eyes- front baby teeth show decay or plaque build up at the top towards her gums.
Last seen with their father Jimmy Atencio - on Friday August 8, 2025
They were supposed to be at their father’s house on Oak St in Lamar Colorado on Saturday August 9, 2025 at 5pm for a court ordered custody exchange.
They have not been seen or heard from. If you have seen them or know their whereabouts please contact their mother at 719-688-6299, the Lamar Police Department at 719-336-3984 or ANY LAW ENFORCEMENT, they are now listed nationwide as missing and endangered, abducted by noncustodial parent.

Jimmy is missing one of his front teeth, most likely to be wearing an Atlanta Braves baseball hat, jeans t-shirt and boots (cowboy or work boots) tattoos-left forearm, right ribcage, multiple small tattoos on his legs.
Believed to have been traveling with Jimmy was;

Age: 68
Height: 5’2”
Weight: appx. 165 pounds
blonde/gray (possibly recently dyed red or brown)hair, hazel eyes- usually wears cargo jeans with a T-shirt and tennis shoes, sun/cancer spots on face and top dentures/false teeth.
It is believed that Mary is traveling with Jimmy at her own free will and is not a victim, per family member statement. Mary has returned to Lamar after a week of being “missing” to give false statements of events that she said occured.
Although Lamar PD has been in contact with Mary, they know she is not being honest and they will be looking further onto her story.
We have learned Jimmy no longer has his GMC Sierra. Unknown vehicle, make, model, year and license plate.
Previous communication suggested they would be traveling to Mexico, however we are not certain that is where they have gone. They could be anywhere by now. It is believed that they may still be close to Lamar Colorado with Mary returning however she very well could have helped him get away before coming back. Please keep your eyes out and call law enforcement if you see them or hear anything.
